How do you wax an armpit?

Waxing your armpits can be a bit challenging, but if done correctly, it can leave you with smooth, hair-free underarms for weeks. Here are some general steps to follow when waxing your armpits:

  1. Gather your supplies: You’ll need wax, wax strips, a wax warmer, gloves, and baby powder.
  2. Cleanse and prep your skin: Make sure your underarms are clean and dry. Apply some baby powder to your underarms to absorb any moisture and to help the wax adhere better to the hairs.
  3. Warm up the wax: Heat the wax in the wax warmer according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying it to your underarms.
  4. Apply the wax: Dip the spatula into the wax and apply a thin layer to your underarm in the direction of hair growth. Leave a small area at the bottom of your armpit for you to grip when pulling off the wax strip.
  5. Apply the wax strip: Place a wax strip over the wax, pressing it down firmly in the direction of hair growth. Smooth it down a few times to make sure it adheres well.
  6. Remove the strip: Hold the bottom of the wax strip with one hand and use the other hand to hold the skin taut. Quickly pull the strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
  7. Repeat the process: Repeat the process on the other underarm until you have removed all the hair.
  8. Clean up: Use a wax remover or oil to clean off any excess wax.
  9. Moisturize: Apply some soothing lotion or aloe vera gel to your underarms to soothe the skin and reduce redness.

Remember to follow the specific instructions of the wax you are using and to be gentle with your skin, as the underarm area can be sensitive. With practice and patience, waxing your armpits can become easier and less painful.
