Using hard wax beans is a simple and effective way to remove unwanted hair at home. Here are the steps you can follow to use hard wax beans:
- Heat the wax: Pour the desired amount of hard wax beans into a wax warmer or microwave-safe container and heat according to the instructions provided with the product. Generally, it takes 5-10 minutes to melt the wax beans completely.
- Clean the skin: Wash the area to be waxed with soap and water to remove any oils, lotions, or sweat. Pat the skin dry with a towel.
- Apply the wax: Using a spatula, apply a thin layer of wax to the area to be waxed, following the direction of hair growth. Be sure to leave a small tab at the end of the wax to use as a grip for removing the wax.
- Let the wax dry: Allow the wax to cool and harden for a few seconds until it becomes firm to the touch.
- Remove the wax: Hold the tab at the end of the wax and pull it off in one quick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth. Be sure to pull the wax parallel to the skin to minimize discomfort.
- Repeat as necessary: If there are any leftover hairs, repeat steps 3-5 until the desired level of hair removal is achieved.
- Clean up: After the waxing is done, use a damp cloth or oil-based solution to remove any wax residue from the skin.
Note: It’s important to always test the temperature of the wax on a small patch of skin before applying it to a larger area to avoid burns or skin irritation. Additionally, hard wax beans should not be used on broken or irritated skin.
